Haden Fig Willamette Valley Wines PINOT NOIR RELEASE PARTY November 8th, 4 to 7 p.m. at Bar Avignon Sunday will be the first time to taste and purchase the 2008 Pinot noir. The 2008 Chardonnay will be open and available as well as a selection of appetizers to complement the wines. The wines will be poured in the private room at Bar Avignon.

For those of you not familiar with Bar Avignon, co-owners Nancy Hunt and Randy Goodman have put together a wonderful eating and drinking spot at 2138 SE Division St. in Portland and new chef Jeremy Eckel is putting out some truly delicious food.

Come for the tasting and stay for dinner. Bar Avignon will be serving it's full dinner menu starting at 4 p.m. and Haden Fig wines will be available for purchase.

I currently have 3 tree paintings hanging in a group show at the Irvine Nature Center located in Owings Mills, MD.

Baltimore Magazine printed me in their pages! Every issue 5 editors each pick something about Baltimore they are "obsessed with" and in the June issue my painting is listed!! Aromatic is has about 1000? artists in a large vacant tall building in DC at 55 M St SE.. its open every day for a month with live music and performances every night. Free to the public and kids are welcome - check it out if you are in the area! My painting is on the 5th floor. Read more at artomatic.org

Artomatic in DC ~ My painting will be on the 9th floor!

I am participating in a group art show on Friday April 25th with 6 other artists. I would love to see you there! I will be hanging my paintings up on Saturday March 10th at Idle Hour in Baltimore and there will be a party from 6 to 9 with cupcakes, chocolates and candy. Idle Hour is a great little classy bar at 201 E. Fort Avenue Baltimore, MD 21230. They will be serving happy hour prices so come and have a drink with me!

FLUX > An Art Sensory Overload

Arlington’s Clarendon neighborhood, the Art Outlet is partnering with Walnut Street Development, artdc.org, Arlington Independent Media (AIM) and DC Conspiracy to cast the large anchor with its “Flux: An Art Sensory Overload” from 5:30 p.m. to 1 a.m. on Saturday, January 27, at the Danville Body Shop, 1415 N. Danville Street in Arlington, VA 22201.

At The Danville Body Shop, your eyes will feast on paintings, sculpture, and similar visual art fare. You’ll also be treated to four bands, an interactive video/sound performance piece, fire juggling, aerial dance performance, and improv theatre. And if pleasing attendees aurally, visually and esthetically isn’t enough, there will be an art raffle and an art salon open to everyone for the duration.

And I will be participating. Maybe I'll see you there?

I finally had an art show in Baltimore > illuminate 2006 held by The City Paper

9 artists were chosen to display work in a new apartment building and we each got our own apartments to fill. I brought cupcakes, lawnchairs, and my old crusty paint brushes for "atmosphere". The party was a lot of fun and I sold some paintings too.
